life happens

Life happens.
Sometimes it’s great
Other times not.
You win some
And lose some
Remembered and forgot.
You can stand proud and tall
And then there are falls.
Egg smeared on your face
Heart broken and disgraced.
But oh, how life happens.
There’s love…romance.
Running on feeling
And without fear
Just dance.
And other times it seems
Just toilet bowl dreams
Spinning 'round and 'round
Flushed out with no meaning
(So, get into the shower,
And get on with the singing.)
But, it doesn't just happen.
In your soul
You know there's a plan
So, on God's promises stand.
Especially when life
Just seems to happen.
